coupe/hardtop is my choice. due to winter season and driving, convertible is not prefered. but i shure remember a short drive in a 96 trans am ws6.. open air and the exhaust sounds, summer warmth.. it was very nice... ok back to earth. coupe. i won't change my mind.

I love to look at the cars with the tops down but I like the hardtop.

Always prefer ragtops, and have had many. BUT...Not the current Camaro vert. Way too many problems. And GM has sat around leaving it's owners swinging in the breeze.

Otherwise, I'd vote vert. I won't give up my ABM for one, though. ![]() As for not wanting a vert in Texas, I don't get that, either! I don't put the top down on my Vette vert in the heat of the day during the summer, but mornings and evenings, o hek ye! |

Hard top all the way. I do a lot of spirited mountain driving in the Sierras and just feel better knowing my head is covered. Besides, with the top down all those interior bits are subjected to wear and tear from the elements (SUN).

In defense of the verts (not like they need any lol)...driving with the top down is always "spirited" driving!...lol...Love to have a vert one day, but in my mind one bad day (rain, something flying out, something stolen from inside) would ruin the fun...Definitely would have to be, for me, strictly pleasure cruises on fair weather days...
