GM Moving out of Detroit??!!

That would be a hell of a shocker! Looks like bankruptcy is imminent:

Get ready for "Little Rock, AR"-muscle or something
That just doesn't sound right if you ask me...

There's actually a fairly positive reaction to this news on GMI...lot of people suggesting GM move to a Detroit suburb like Ford and Chrysler.

Why the hell does anyone want to live in Detroit anyways? J/K

Could you imagine if big companies like GM started leaving Detroit. That city is already in dire straits with the financial mess and foreclosures.

What does that mean for us new Camaro owners, moving out, dealers closing, plants moving out of US, buy a Camaro and take our chances, man that sucks
I just saw a SS/RS black on black looks real good on dealer (JFK Chevy in Warminster PA)floor (it was sold), I was about to make a change to my order, I'll wait for my Rally yellow

"Detroit Muscle" is synonymous with GM/Ford/Chrysler performance.

If GM moves out of Detroit to say, Little Rock, then you'd have "Little Rock Muscle." Which sounds really really weird.

I think soon there will be an outstanding automotive headquarters/product development complex available in Auburn Hills, MI that GM could pick up cheap.
