Proud owner of new 1SS/RS
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself, I found a great deal of good information here before buying and am appreciative of the great community here already. I recently picked up a new 2011 1SS/RS (hard to argue with 0% interest financing), traded my 09 G8 GT which was a great car for all 62k miles of ownership. However, I must say I've been very impressed with the SS so far. Took a quick road trip over Easter weekend and logged over a 1000 miles on the trip, and smiled the entire time
 This is my first Camaro. My mom had an 89 RS M5 305 and a 93 Z28 M6 during my high school and college days, and my dad currently has a 90 Corvette convertible with less than 50k on the clock, so it's always been in my blood, nice to finally have a car like this that is mine. I look forward to learning more from the community and doing a few mods, muffler delete was done within 24 hours of ownership, maybe a CAI and tune next. I have had some fun taking pics of this car, here are a few from this weekend. |

jmySS, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
