Take a LOT of pictures and post them please!

What part of Ohio are you in if you don't mind me asking. I live in Kettering, Ohio.

have a great time. we did the math and we wouldnt have been there untill you were all in on your hike and decided we would wait until next time.

hopefully there will be more than 2 of us willing to do this next time, or perhaps somewhere else that has a few people wanting to do it.

There really should be a major rally organized during which there could be a Camaro cruise through Gladier NP. If I'd had some time to plan it, I would LOVE to participate. Maybe we could have a weekend event in Kalispell and part of it would be a cruise over to St. Mary and back.

Beautiful. In your first shot, you got a great view of the red rocks of the Grinnell Formation of Precambrian age. Also in several of the other pictures, you can see the gently folded rock formations. The rocks in the park are folded into a structure called an syncline due to the Lewis Overthrust Fault. The park has amazing geology...

Now as for the glacial history of the park...

Ok, I'll stop there.

Great pictures of the wild life too. Thanks for sharing!

Not a bad idea Becky. On top of Glacier Park we've got Yellowstone National Parks and a bunch of other stuff. Plus it would be an easy drive for me

I am unsure if Lewistown MT has their 1/4 mile strip open anymore???

Billings MT has a 1/4 mile strip. Also, Anaconda MT has a 1/8th mile strip.

But from my experience, watching those from Alberta drive. I would say your drag strip would be from the Port of Shelby, down the interstate to Great Falls
