Well, the problem came back again after working for several weeks. Zune can tell it is plugged in cause the screen activates when I plug it into the USB port. But it never shows up on the radio display... Sigh. Gonna play with it some more before going back to the dealer.

I got a new 7th gen Ipod Classic in November. Worked fine other than scratchy sounds sometimes till this morning. I took it in the house and found online how to reset it. It needed charged, so charged all day and worked fine again. Need to find my old Ipod to see if it can be reset, it quit working a long time ago.
