Well I finally got it done ! Here are the pics... Only kicker I see so far is the over spray on the windshield.. Kind pisses me off I didn't tape it off but I was losing day light... Got to coats of sealer on it as well !

Last pic is the finished product ! Fairly easy like I said.. just TAPE OFF YOUR WINDOWS !!

Oh yeah, the other kicker is the brush... Make sure you brush the brush out pretty good to get all the loose hairs out.. Otherwise you get them stuck in the fabric of the top !

Pics not working for me.....I thought the overspray could be easily washed off with soap and water?

Now I see the pics....very nice. What kind of brush did you use? Their video says the overspray wipes right off, maybe better when its wet.

Prbly Friday I'll do mine, kit just came today

I did it today as well.....very easy and the top does look great.

Didn't have an issue with overspray, wiped it off when wet.

So the only thing is , it feels a little tacky and collects more lint than it used to... BUT Water does not have a chance on it , beads up and rolls right off !

That is interesting to know. Thanks for the update.
I am assuming you are happy with the change, even with the lint and the tackiness, right?

Also... More a general question.... Everyone always talks about beading water as a good sign.... What is the actual benefit to that... ESP in a conv top?

When the water beads it is being repelled by the coating and does not get absorbed at all by the cloth top. Helps maintain the longevity of the top.

Great information here since I too just used the Raggtopp since my best buddy has had two convertibles in the past and this is my first one I purchased two weeks ago. Love the car and thinking about getting the Sport Bar but will have to see if my dealer can install it since I cant. Great site Michael in Virginia

I used 303 last week. First application of any kind on my lid. Car is 8 months old. Not impressed. Some water beading but not to the extent of the pics on the box. My boss has been using the BMW fabric protector on his BMW soft top for 4 years and the car looks like new. It even looks somewhat shiny. It's $30 at the local BMW dealership. I will be trying that one next.

Ok, after a couple rainy days here's my report on the Ragg Topp product.

Water beaded up pretty good at first, but does not seem to be beading up as much now after Sunday's downpours. I am wondering if perhaps some got washed off by the hard rains.

I have some left in the can, I think when the warm dry weather returns, I'll spray the rest on.

I am surprised that it did not bead up longer, I just applied it a week ago.
