SOLO High-Flo Cats

Any of yall have these for the L99? Thinking about getting them but just wanted to hear some reviews. I currently have stock exhaust, and heard a couple sounds clips and they still sound pretty good!

More flow = better sound. Go long tubes.

I have them with a catback muffler delete w/ x pipe. Sounds bad ass. You always gain some extra HP. There is absolutely no CEL with Solo's, which is the reason I got them, not having to tune.

Does anyone know if these will pass emissions testing? I believe they use OBD here in Ohio. How hard is the install? Might do these at some point in the future.

When I had them they passed, no problem. IMO the stock manifolds and SOLO HF cats sounded way better than my headers and their cats. Almost make me wished I hadn't switched.

Yes, they do sound great with stock exhaust. I had the on my L99 for a while before going to LT route. I loved them! I sold them to a friend and now he's really enjoying that deep note out of the back. Definitely get it with the J-pipes, it will help eliminate that drone a lot more.

Highly recommend then. NEVER got a CEL with then either.

Can you really expect 20+ HP gain with them?

Yep. I only gained about 16HP going from those to headers and a tune.

The LS3 ones sell used for $375. I think Juiced1 sells SOLO as does Goingsolo2.

YES - they are indeed awesome I am not ready for a tune and LT's yet so I installed them with a used set of DT Shorties, and I am amazed at how much better my Flowmasters sound

I can definitely feel the increase in hp & tq as welll!
