Talking OBX Longtube Headers

So, just got my headers in the mail and finished installation yesterday For anyone that's wondering, these headers have excellent quality. The fit was PERFECT and welds were all smooth and beautiful. Anyone who pays 1200 for a set of kooks or stainless works is wasting they're money. Im happy with everything about them. I did the install in about 3 hours on jack stands in my garage and only had a few minor problems (which were not related to the headers). And I am only 19 with not much DIY experience. If anyone has any question an wants to know more about the headers or the install you can leave a comment or pm I would be super happy to give back something to the forum. Chears

Glad you got your issues worked out.
I love mine. At first I wasnt going to go with the OBX due to all the bashing going on here about them. I realized I was falling into the stereo typical 'follow the leader' syndrome that tends to occure on these forums. But in the long run, I followed my heart (and did my homework) and am damn glad I did.
Ha! Now I realize why all the negativity......damn good product at a damn good price.
Enjoy!

Hope your OBX lasts longer then mine did. Mine didn't even last a year before they had to be junked and replaced. Between buying the OBX, spending money trying to repair them, and buying a second set from a good name brand I ended up spending twice the amount I would have if I had just bought the name brand to start with.
They come with a life time warranty? Why didn't you claim it?

OBX's "limited" warranty apparently is only limited to them not being installed. And their customer service is practically non-existent. My problems with the headers started only months after installation. I thought the same thing, hey they have a life time warranty I'll just contact them. When I did get a hold of someone (which felt like it took an act of congress to achieve) I was pretty much told that getting them fixed was my issue not theirs and to take a hike.

Doesn't one of the forum sponsers sell them? I would ask them what the warranty policy is.

Wow you got screwed. The warranty is supposedly good for "track applications"
