Looking forward to seeing what your final numbers are and what boost pressure your running to get those numbers. I have seen first hand what a Maggie 112 and 122 could do to a GTO in regaurds to bringing the beast alive. I ran with a competitor's product and was never satisfied. I was thinking about running TT's but if you guys can nail this system down and keep the belts from shredding, I would be willing to give you a chance.

Thanks for all the info and updates BlownChevy. Your G8 is pretty sweet.

Thanks, just so you know allot has been learned and fixed from the early GTO days. I am running 8 psi on my G8 with over 10K on it and ZERO issues.

Thanks for the complement!

So let me see if I got this right. You guys installed the 2300 basically straight up on a stock LS3, got about 480 RWHP. Now Hennessey Performance will put headers CAI etc and burn a new chip and hopefully get what they are advertising?

I think someone mentioned Hennessey advertises HP at the engine .. so they are just about there without any other modifications .. it will be interesting to see what all they do though ..

Maybe I'm the only one but slapping the maggie on and getting 480 out of the rear wheels is awesome and its reliable..

Can you leave the stock valve springs in for the next 100K miles or is it a 20K mile swap ?

Blown Chevy whats your take on this?

will the LS3 and L99 be a 100K mile change the oil engine or will it require additional service..?

Not a flame but rather a valid question on what the individual buying the kit is actually getting into..

TIA

JB

Just found the answer in previous posts and that to me is worth more than a few extra ponies...

Once your at 480 to the rear wheels...if the car can be used as a daily driver...then you've hit paydirt..

Again...JMO and thanks for the information...

Our HPE550 upgrade will deliver at least 562 hp at the engine with our air induction, tune and exhaust mods. This should be at least 500 rw hp thru the factory 6-speed.

Thanks for the information! That is what I figured .. please keep us posted of your progress .. My personal goal is for around 550rwhp .. it will be interesting to see where the safe point is for a stock block LS3 ...
