The Dash Kit Install was easy. It worked Perfectly.
My only issue was the instructions on the wiring for the new stereo and the interface. I found it confusing to me, because I forgot that I had a factory amp. If you can read and understand you will not have any problems.
Good Luck.
I will be happy to answer any questions also.

Help Plz!

Help plz.
Hi Everyone. I bought a used Metra Kit and a crappy cheap used boss audio system to try on my 2010 camaro. I got to the wires and hooked everything up and noticed that the audio system was getting really hot. The thing is, I double checked all the wires and everything was correct before I reconnected the battery terminal and turned it on. Then it smoked instantly and doesn't work at all. So now I am sending back the audio system for a refund.

Now the problem is that the Metra Kit doesn't work on my camaro anymore (fans don't respond and stuck on 77 degrees thing) but also I put my stock audio system back together and now that doesn't work either. The a/c fan controls work, but the audio system doesn't turn on and no chime or clicking sound when turn signals are on.

Is there a way to reset everything in order to turn my stock audio system back on along with the chime or clicking noises? Or is the cable the problem whenever the cheap audio system overheated?

Check the fuse box in the trunk on the passenger side, most likely blew the radio fuse there.

Thanks a bunch guys. That was exactly what the problem was, blown fuses. Gonna just stick to the stock audio system for now :( but at least I have some exhausts to install. Hope this doesn't go so bad either
