2LT/RS ABM CGM Stripes
Congratulations!!! ON the invoice note, you should be able to go to your dealer and have them print out a copy of the invoice via the Dealer Workbench... mine did. It's not the official "window" sticker invoice, but it's all on there and gives me the numbers I would need to get financing, insurance, etc.

I ordered the factory stripes and was told that the dealer would install these. It seems to me that the factory is pushing more of the samll items on the dealer to help get theses cars out the door.

dealer just called i been bayed 4 times and now im at 4200 there saying it went to rail on 5/11 late .he also told me he will start paying intrest on the car on the 18th of may so we hope to have it before that date hopefully and of course now we cant track it .he was also invoiced .is there a way i can check my invoice on here .my dealer left forr the day

Camarossrs2150 - VIN-9107062 Been at 3800 for over a month. Just checked w/dealer, still the same. Ordered thru Coughlin Chevrolet, Newark, Ohio Oct, 14th. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I didn't order the stripe package, I'll do that myself.

Apparently, this doesn't impact every car destined for factory stripes though, as many many cars have come and gone... while a handful have spent time waiting like my #4768.

The good news is that both the striping company *and* the transportation company are now actively engaged in filling the gap. Hopefully, this all amounts to goodness for those of us stuck in Whitby.

I've received a few PM's with VIN's and requests to assist. Please understand that I am not trying to be a jerk by not giving names and numbers... I am trying to protect the source(s) from the inevitable onslaught that posting their information would bring. I committed/promised to not do it, and I will remain true to my word. Every conversation I am having with these entities starts with my car but focuses on the larger sum of cars with the same issue... the theory is simple: clear the clog and the whole sink drains.

That said, all of the information I have found is readily and publicly available. The idea is simply - GM and dealers use systems. These systems use information being fed to them from GM's partner/vendors. Determining the vendors gives you names, and Googling those names gives you contact information. Armed with contact information and the right approach, you get progress. Flies really do like honey better than vinegar, and people really do like being treated nicely more than being screamed at by an over-the-edge car buyer. Keep this in mind, no matter what you do.

i'm 99.9% sure that my car (3081) fell into the same lot, stripped and ready just never picked up.

hopefully your efforts let loose some of the cars alot of us have been aching for.

Thank you for bringing this to every ones Attention Hopefully the will get something done about these cars that have fell through the cracks! # 2712 ordered on 10-13 08 If I would have only known Factory stripes would have been such A big deal! 1st In line And 3 others allready got cars with no stripes! lol

You got that right! Can you say special "care package" sent to the attention of?

Looks like we will have very similar looking cars.... an awesome combination. What color interior did you go with (the grey leather for me)?
