Hey,

On Saturday I pretty much was ready to give up on my order. Placed 11/3, still no VIN, no event code no nothing. My son filled out an online survey, and poof! we get this phone call about a cancelled early order entry at a local dealership. Guy says it's supposed to be at dealership on 5/11, and the purchaser decided last minute he wants an manual transmission. He offers to sell it to me at MSRP.
Yesterday, my original dealer calls with a 3800 code, build date of 3/8, and says my car is in transit, in town about 12 days. Holy crap!
So today, I get a call; the black one is in. guy wants me to put $1k down as a deposit, wants to park it, locked up, in showroom for three days, which he told me from day 1, so that was no surprise. Thing is, I really want my Rally Yellow order. Does anybody want this Black car? I am supposed to have a decision (deposit)for him by 7 p.m. tonight.

Wait the 12 days and don't look back!!!! If you want RY than it is not even a question as what to do!!! I would like to know why it took a letter before they gave you a call????? I bet this is happening all over. I like your two choices of Rally Yellow and Black. I was going to order Black but changed my mind to RY.

This person is telling you he knows where you can get a Black one because they don't need it. They're trying to help you find what you're looking for.

I am buying the yellow car no matter what. I just hate to let the black one go, at the dealership @ sticker, with all these dealers charging OVER the MSRP for SS cars; heck, V-6's too. Thought somebody might want it. Once I got my VIN# on the RY, I was done.

Your last sentence was confusing. "you had until 7 pm tonight". You've got 2 camaros to choose from and I can't even get one! (Wish the dealer was closer)

The VIN ends in A9103909. That's all he gave me. He also didn't call me back with the specific option info I asked for, so I'm guessing he'll have it tomorrow morning. It's weird that he doesn't have an invoice. He just keeps saying it's loaded. I keep saying, "yeah, it's a 2SS/RS, it comes loaded, but does it have any OPTIONS? Anyway, I'll post the results of that rather simple question tomorrow morning. I looked on both tracking threads, could not find the VIN# on either.
