Thinking about doing a turbocharger on my v6. Any ideas? Friends are big into cars, im becoming more and more into them but definitely novice. Have v6, purchased in Jan (officially in love). So far have done exhaust (axel back)..

Was thinking about cold air and turbo charger. looking to get more power and speed.

Looking for ideas, suggestions, thoughts.

Check out the forced induction section just below. Currently they have TT and supercharger out. A single turbo system is currently in the works, might be out, havent personally seen a post yet tho. If the numbers were the same etc, supercharger would be more forgiving in some ways depending on where you live ^.^

Check out STS turbos. Looks like very nice results kind of an unorthodox system though.

What state are you in?

We have several options. Single turbo, twin turbo, and Super Charger. Take your pick.

Yes there is. PM Tracy (SC2150) above your post for more info. He does great work and has excellent customer service and reputation, although I have never met him seems to be and all around nice person. I have purchased several items from him like the RX Catch Can among other items. It has always been a pleasant experience.

I live in south florida. IM looking to obtain more power and torque. I love the car, just want to get more out of it. for nothing to crazy of a price 6-7500 . any ideas? saw the sts for 5200 delivered (plus install) anyone have it. i wanna be able to stay with ss and such.

Dude you really need to go to Tracy!! SC2150 built Gretchin' which may end up being the fastest v6 camaro in the country. He will hook you up and would be my number one choice when I go that direction down the road.

Were close to you as well. Drive over and see them in person. Not many true "FI Experts" around when dealing with the 3.6 LLT.

I have the STS Turbo, great system, Im sitting at 370rwhp, so A little above the SS, it is capable of doing more, but you will have to get a meth injection kit or wait for an upgraded fuel pump to handle it, because people have been hitting a wall with their stock fuel pump. Boosts up your mpg by 3-4, and you pretty much get a whole new car in terms of power. Planning on doing the meth kit when summer starts.
