Manual is old school. Auto is new...I always lean towards the old school. Auto cars used to be slower but now that's changed so it's just personal preference now.

1st Camaro was a manual, this ones easier on the knees.

That might be true, but in the 5th Gen the difference between auto and manual is also the difference between the LS3 and L99.
Pretty good difference between them.

I prefer manual, but we purchased an auto.
Wife's daily driver, although she can drive a manual (she drives my Vette just fine).
For her every day driving, the auto is just easier.

Manual here, had the LS3 been offered with an automatic, I would have gotten that instead.

Wouldn't have it any other way (manual) in a sports car. We have automatics for the DD and kiddie haulers.
