Looks like if the weather will cooperate I may take my HRE #1974 to the show. First time out of the garage this year.

I will be going to the Nordstrom's car show in CR. I have a wedding reception to go to right afterwards, otherwise I would have made it out to Karl Chevrolet. No worries Paul, I'm sure you will have a good turn out. Hope you get lots of pictures for the ones that weren't able to attend. Later.

Hey guys,

here in IC, the Norstroms show has not advertised in usual car flyers or word of mouth informed to those that pass around events info at all. The only word of the show was via this forum. I check my last month's CCC newsletter (the group that does the Sycamore Mall friday events) and it's not listed in their calender of events.

Is the Nordstrom show open to any and all cars? Able to register at event? Cost? While wanting to enjoy the 2010 Camaro (at Karl's), I was also wanting to fire up my 67 now since I just was delivered 1/2 barrel of Sunoco 115 fuel for it

And with-out going thru the thread, just where is the Nordstrom location?

Nordstrom show is open to all cars. There will be a Dyno on site $65 for 3 pulls I believe. Also I have been told by the organizer that there will be a burn out box. I will be there as my wife wants to show the Buick so I have to go to make sure that goes well. I would love to have done the Karls show. Sorry Paul.

The Nordstrom location: It is just off Wright Brothers BLVD here in Cedar Rapids. Drive as if you are going to the Eastern Iowa Airport. Stay in the RIGHT LANE. Take the right immediately after crossing the railroad tracks - Nordstroms is down that road on the Left. It is the ONLY thing on that side of the road and it is a huge building. Cannot miss it.

The Nordstrom's show is at 7700 18th St. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA. Pre-register at www.iowacarshow.com . If you preregister the entry fee is $15 and $20 the day of the show. It is open to all years and there will be a dyno machine @ $60 for 3 pulls, and yes a burn-out contest. I will snap a picture of the flyer and post it up here later.

Iowa city friday night cruise in's start the last friday of this month. They sre at sycamore mall and i believe they sre from 5-9.

i am going either way, nate says my car will be done. if not i will be driving the vette up. i have plans after the show with a friend from des moines. than may have to drive party bus.

Future Ads- same but omission of the Preffered status and more laid back. More owners assests and time would be available.
