Bigger washer bottle

I'm thinking of getting a scoop and washer bottle reloc kit for my CAI. My concern is that I live in MN and the replacement washer bottles are not as large as factory. Is this an issue for inclement weather and the need to wash the windshield often, or is the current sizes just fine? If a larger bottle is needed...does anyone even make one that is usable with the ADM Scoop?

Thanks,

I have a Roto-Fab washer bottle and it hold plenty. It may be just bit smaller than the factory one but not by much.

Just keep a spare gallon in the trunk.

I do that already. Didn't need it this winter, but just in case.

Thanks for the link Sir Nuke....unfortunately it only holds a half gallon.

I'm feeling there is no options out there if I want the air scoop. I don't mind the look of the washer bottle kits...just was hoping for something that held more fluid.

the Apex bottle you can get with the scoop is only about 1/2 gal. I dont think any are as big as stock.

You can relocate the washer bottle whether you use a scoop or not. I have the Apex scoop and bottle. Their bottle is 1/2 gallon and bolts to the side of the scoop and is hidden behind the driver headlight. It attaches via a hose to a remote filler that you can mount where you want. It makes for a clean under hood look. You can also get the Roto-Fab bottle which mounts behind the airbox. It's bigger but adds to under hood clutter. You can then use either the Apex or ADM scoop. As far as use, the only time I've hit my wash button in 3 years was to test after scoop and bottle install, but I think a half gallon would last a while.

Shouldn't be a problem IMO.

I'm hearing ya, mclark10...I drive mine year round though...so it get's plenty of usage.

I'm thinking if I go with the Apex kit...I'll mount the bottle filler outside the air box for easier access.

That would be the way to go then. PM Apex Chase for pricing. They have a good deal when you by both together as a kit.

Just get the Apex bottle. It holds 1 pint less then the factory washer bottle does. The factory bottle looks huge but it actually holds less then you would think.

Is it possible to just relocate the factory bottle to somewhere else?
