I think I can answer this question. NO The 2012 version will not fit the 10 or 11. SIMPLY because the location of the radiator cap is in a different place. This is the whole reason we 12 owners are waiting for the new version to come out I am going to go out on a limb here and hypothesize that because of the cap being off center they are having issues getting the air flow threw the intake corrected. minimizing the turbulence and pressures caused by this offset..

Actually, they have two different designs they are working on. As of last week, they hadn't concluded which design will be the one that makes it into production. One of the two is completely different than whats available right now and will fit all model years, 2010, 11 and 12. I will speak with Pat this Friday and get an update.

In the meantime, pass the

Oh, Boy !!! You sucked me in here - Here I go again, waiting on Vararam - LOL!!!

I started building a Vararam replacement creation of my own a couple of weeks ago. Idea is to have the OTR benefits but with good looks too. But since this is both a PITA and a lot of time I don't have to spend...

...waiting on Vararam again. Here's some more to share

Hoping it's worth another wait. We'll see soon?

I love the performance of my VR, I'm just tired of looking at that oddly shaped hunk of plastic in my engine bay. It doesn't "flow well" now that I've done some engine bay beautification work. <also blaming you for that - >

Hope the new products have "killer" looks ???

Well, I recently bought a Vararam brand new but I might send it back and hold off to see what the new product will be.

I'm trying to get one myself and info is few and far between on them. Think it's because they are expensive. But they should do just as well if not better than the vararam intake. I'm not too excited about the vararam myself due to everyone sayin it's poorly made and their CS is crap. On the other hand, the new era is billet aluminum and made very well and available in several finishes...

It's called supporting mods. Your supporting mods is what all adds up. There's nothing wrong with the vararam. It pulls great.

Maybe so but for some reason everyone that owns a vararam says they are poorly made. Why is that?

As far as their CS, other than Frank in MD not getting called to let him know the bolts were not in the package, I've heard nothing but good thing and how they have gone the extra mile.

I remember reading something about Vararam sending a whole new unit to one of our members because they notice in a picture he had posted it had a defect. Which by the way, the member wasn't complaining about but they still replace it for him. That's pretty good CS in my book.

I'm just going off of what I myself have read here. But when everyone says they are poorly made, I don't think it's gonna be my first choice for my car.

This guy just spent over $300.00 for a CAI and already has to modify it to correct a design flaw. With the money he will probably spend the correct it, he could have had a New Era OTR.
