Im gonna drop an ls7 engine in mine, and probably add a kenne bell 2.8, i was debating twin turbos as well, but i want this car to be as american as possible. Also the whine of a kb i think sounds so much better than hissing and popping of the turbos

If you're going to be going with forced induction, it might be better to use a smaller engine. The the LS7 can't handle too much boost.

Its not the internals, its the walls. The increase in displacement comes from increasing the bore, not the stroke.

yes it does
Not quite. Displacement is area x stroke x number of cylinders. The reason I brought up the issue of the cylinder walls is because the LS3 has roughly 25% more material between the cylinders compared to the LS7. So if you want to run a lot of boost, the LS3 could is the better choice. Thats why GM didn't start with the LS7 when making the supercharged LS9 for the ZR1 or the LSA in the CTS-V, they based them off of the LS3. I'm not enough of an expert in the engines to know what the limit is for the engines, but if you plan on running moderate to high boost levels the smaller bore LS3 is a better choice than the LS7. My whole point with this is, just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
