Spray some detail spray on that cloth and you're good to go. As long as your car isn't caked with dust then it should be safe to run the cloth per it with spray. If its to much dirt, then rubbing it around on the paint will cause to many swirl marks. Even if your car came dirty it would still look and sound amazing!! Let's meet regardless .

Hey guys,

At this weekends car show, I will be installing front and rear Chevy bowtie carbon fiber vinyl overlays for $15 total. I have White Carbon Fiber, and Black Carbon Fiber vinyl. It is fantastic quality vinyl, and looks amazing. It's made by Hexis USA, which is the same vinyl Headlight Armor sells. At the show I will cut out the bowtie, lay it on with a heat gun and make sure it looks great right at the show. The $15 price includes the front and rear bowtie AND installation cost. That's about as cheap as anyone can get. I'm not expecting to make much money off of this project because the carbon wrap is relatively expensive (even when I buy the large rolls that I do. I also have to cut off the leftover and throw it away which is money down the drain, lol). However, this will help pay for the wrap at least. I have no idea how many bowties I can do for the amount of vinyl I have left. So, no promises on the total number I can do. It will be first come, first served, so whoever replies first (whether that be in this thread or PMing me) gets first priority. Also, remember, this may take a tad bit more time (not much though) because they aren't precut, I will cut them out nicely after the vinyl is laid on.

Let me know if anybody wants this done. Hint Hint.....Carter...Chris....you guys just got new rides, so let's spruce them up . This offer is good for anyone of our club members and other non club members, but ones that are Camaro5 members that meet us at the car show this weekend with their camaro. I thought this would be something fun to do at the show, and I know I was supposed to get Chito hooked up with some bowties at the last show.

Anyone interested?

I'm down for some white carbon fiber. I just want to see what it looks like. Is the vinyl durable?

Hexis vinyl is definitely durable once it's on. Ask Felipe, as I put the same carbon on his gas door and bowties. I have the same type of carbon vinyl on my mirrors, dash trim, and door panels. Just clean it with some soap and water, and/or detail spray when it gets dirty.

No problem Chito. I'll do your bowties first since I was supposed to do them last time. Thanks a ton man. Hopefully this helps out as well since we can have a mod day at the same time as the car show, lol. Now nobody will have to drive just to get them installed.

so....I love my daily drive aka my VW GTI....but am second guessing lol

I MIGHT be willing to sell whatever I have paid and transfer the name to the owner..

The NEW daily driver which I wanna buy instead of lease and just have is the
Ford Raptor SVT! It looks so bad ass and always wanted a truck...I have found a few and trying to manage some deals. What do you guys think?
