Having Trouble opening my Headlights

I have a 2011 camaro rs V6

im trying to open my headlights so i can install hid lights myself but for some reason i think there is an extra cap on the back of the headlights .

its like a Minus SIGN - that sticks out , do it twist it ? or what do it do

can someone plz help me

or does anyone have a video opening the headlights to change a bulb

or photos ?

The large circle area with the 4 cross pattern tabs, you turn that counter clockwise. the bulb is in there.

I tried turning it , but it wont turn :(

If it's the large one, it takes a little force... I bought some RS headlights to put on mine and opened it... just grab them at the base of the fin things and push and turn at the same time. Should be a little rough because you're turning against the o-ring.

another question i have is . do you no that for me to install 15000k hid lights do i have to get the whole kit or just the bulbs would do it
