Ugh.... How slow do trains actually go? Stuck at 4200... Any suggestions? (I have called the dealer twice - I feel like I am bugging her!)

I'm not sure when the actual production week will be for the ZL1's. They
don't follow the ordinary production schedules we see posted every week.
I had talked to one guy who said his is scheduled for the week of 5/28 and
he's been sitting at 3000. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you, we're
all trying to find out how this whole 2012/2013 transition is going to work. Bottom line is you're going to have a 2012 at some point Congrats to you.

Takes awhile to get to CA. If you have the railcar #, you can trace it and
it will give you an idea where it's at. If you don't have the #, ask your dealer or call customer service at 800-222-1020 and they should be able to give it to you. Hang in there - it's well worth the wait

What constitutes a production week? Do they work week-ends. Could my car be built on Saturday or Sunday before the next week officially begins. Just curious. It's Friday already and I still have no VIN.

I was just on the gm connects website and took at look at their constraints for this week. I believe it currently states that all Camaro's without the ZL1 package are on constraint and are expected to be so until May 14th. Does that mean even if we were told it was going to be built this week (Apr 16th) it will not be. order number qgkmpv. Now im starting to freak out.

Typically the will work 5 days, and on occasion 6. The VIN# doesn't
show until the day after it's built, so you still have Sat as a possibility
and if it doesn't show then, we'll try again on Tues.

That's the Dealer Order Submission Process that happens every
week, not for orders currently in the system. One the order is
accepted it's then scheduled for production weeks from now. Your
order is scheduled for production this week, the ZL1's have no
effect on that. ----Don't panic---everything is just fine!!
