Just dont answer the door next time, seriously though the cop did nothing wrong...but never ever flat out admit to guilt.

my rules are a tad bit different....but hey i dont get tickets when i'm pulled over either..lol

seriously in some parts of texas, even cops no better than to go snooping around peoples homes without knocking first!

In NC you can. If you see someone snooping around your house in the middle of the night you can fire off a warning shot.

BTW, once they lose site of you they cannot issue a ticket unless you admit it.
