10lbs. is not a problem on 93 octane.. As Padre even said though if you go to the track drop in a few gallons of 100 unleaded or Torco at least. Remember, few gallons of gas is cheaper than a new powerplant!!

Cool fella`s, thanks for all the replies.

Matt,
I agree a gallon or two of 100 probably wouldn`t hurt things for an all day track rental especially.

Padre,
I`m running 16 degrees myself.

usmcjlp,
its been a while how`s the car doing?

Car is fine as far as I know. It's been garaged under a car cover since March 2011. I have been deployed for the past year. I get home in May for about a month and then I go back out.

I'm debating doing some more work when I'm back on leave, but I seriously doubt my wife will tolerate that. Oh well, more money saved for future projects.

NoMercy,
1.61, I don`t have a converter so not as good as Padre, plus i think Padre has more in it 60 foot wise, me not so much. I think 1 reason the car runs so strong for 536rwhp is I still have the VVT. I`m still stock internal, that makes a big diff in the midrange rpm I believe. Even though my peak is not high, I`m making a lot, relatively speaking, in the meat of the powerband.

usmcjlp,
Man I`m sorry to hear you`ve been out so long and going back so short after coming home. I know all about the wives attitude...You should have heard mine after I bought the whipple, she damn near had a cow.. I just ordered her a new Tahoe to go beside the Vette she drives to work, seems our low mileage perfect running order Durango that has a few years on it is just not up to her standards, but her standards far surpass my wallet.. When its something she wants its all good to spend the dough, but heaven forbid I want to buy a big ticket item.. Good thing I manage the finances...
