I think they will offer one..but mine will be 3 x 2.5...I'm not planning any huge mods...well not till the warranty is gone anyway....but I know they did an SRT 8 full 3"..so I'm sure they would offer it.

I've had long tube headers and still passed emmissions testing in Cali, they have the strictist laws out there. You have to have a C.A.R.B. # and you're good.
He said High Flow Race Cats .. so will assume there are cats there .. what Long tube header system has a CARB Cert .. please point me in their direction.

Very cool... Can not wait to see and hear it; I really was impressed with the G8 exhaust. Might be looking at this for mine...

I hope they do a couple dyno pulls before and after....if they don't, SHAME ON THEM. They NEED to know what #'s they will be putting out.

There are no CARB-legal LTs out there because they all move the cats' out of their OEM locations. It's been my experience that the cats' can run significantly cooler when they're that car away from the exhaust ports and won't "light-off" (that is get up to their proper heat range where they burn off emissions) quick enough and sometimes not at all. I've measured temperatures at the primaries and compared to pre' and aft' cat' temperatures and find significant differences, especially when the engine is idling. Unless you get a spot-on tune, and have a good cat', I don't think it will be easy to pass a sniffer in CA - especially the cold-start tests. You won't find a CARB-legal OBDII LT out there - period. If you do, point me in that direction!

I've been reading that some are going with 3'' exhausts/headers, ? When I did the exhaust on my 94 Impala the car didn't come out of the hole like it did before I did the exhaust/ less back pressure ?. So to get the car quicker I went with 3;73gear and a power programer and then it ran very well. I guess my question is if you change to a free flow exhaust will it effect the low end power? or will a tune help that ?
