Tucson Camaro's

So Glen has graciously agreed to host an M&M Day on 28 April. The plan is to start around 9AM. We're going to do this up as a potluck and BBQ lunch. Please bring a side dish and anything you want to throw on the grill (burgers, hotdogs, steak, octopus, etc).

Everyone's invited, even if you don't have a mod and just want to come by to watch and learn.

We also need to establish some ground rules regarding the mods;

1. Take with you what you brought (used oil, removed OEM parts, etc.)

2. Put tools back as soon as you're done. Others may need them.

3. Bring any special tools you may need for your mod unless you've arranged for someone else to provide them and assist you.

4. Ask before you use someone else's products (Soap, Wax, Claybar, etc.)

5. Make sure you have all you require to complete your project.

6. No projects that could run into the wee hours of the night (no overnight parking).

I'll send out the location to folks that e-mail or PM me with a reply. Let's not fill up the thread with RSVP's please. Please let me know what you plan to do for a mod or maintenance, and what you'll bring to eat. Also let me know if you have any special automotive skills that may help others.

I'm in Sierra Vista. Currently I am the only person south of Tucson that is getting one. My dealership was barely able to order the car. We were told no for the longest time. Then one day I went in to visit and I was invited to the managers desk to see if we could place the order. Once we did, GM accepted it and was scheduled for build. The manager about fell out of his chair because he had just tried a few hours earlier.
So for some wierd reason we were able to get it done.
whats funny is the dealership has turned down people trying to by my order well over msrp. They keep saying no out of respect for me. So I'm really liking these guys.

i bought some new tail lights on ebay i am pretty excited to get them and install them on the car. what do you guys think of them?

I need to call him to bring mine in for the convertible top TSB's. Been putting it off for a permanent fix. They seem to have it worked out now...

Those should look wicked against the black paint! I haven't seen that version before. Let us know what you think of them once they're installed.

sold the SS after 26 months with only 12K miles

here is the new one. An exact twin.... almost

Chances are this one wont get much more use either. but its certainly nice to have when I want it

Looks good man! I have yet to try that to any car but the results are always amazing!!
