Help with problems after TSP vvt cam fitted...

Just picked the car today from workshop after fitted TSP AFM-3 cam (the one on their website with both VVT/AFM comptiable but 15hp less on HP rate) package....Here are some problems over it..please help to figure out..

I got the SCT tune from ted@JRE because I am not in USA and no tuner here can tune the TSP vvt cam..

1.My JRE custom 2800 stall not arrived yet,so I am running with standard stall from now for couple of weeks. It runs fine , brake is bit hard at idle but acceptable. Problem is every time after I accle. the car harder to eg. over 3000rpm then make a hard brake to stop the car ,the engine got shut off at the end,the RPM dropped to 0 when the car stopped..Please note this only happen when I accle. the car hard then brake hard..not during normally driving..Is this something to do with the standard stall?Or the cam /tune issue?

2.The car not feels much faster than before,TSP claimed these AFM cams still pick over 65rwhp from a bolted on car (my previous mods are in the signature) when accle. now.I havent try very high speed just within 100mph and it still shift at around 6200rpm,I thought it would be higher with a cam?Is this sounds like a fitting problem or tuning?Ted said he did a special tune to me to match this TSP cam already..

The installer is pretty good and promised everthing in fitting would be correct include PVC and cam timings.but I am doubting. If there are problems during fitting, where should I check it from?

Please give some infomation guys, really appreciate for it.

Have you done any datalogging and remote tuning with Ted? He should be able to figure it out easily that way.

One question, why in the world would you go to the work and expense to replace the cam just to retain the AFM system???? The fuel milage improvement is minimal at best and you have to retain those AFM lifters that are the weak link in the L99 valvetrain anyway.

Get ahold of Ted.

1. Check your timing tables and smooth them out. Sometimes only portions of the timing tables are changed, but special focus on tyhe part-throttle areas will help daily driving. Look for areas where there is a large jump in timing.

2. Your shift point at 6200 is the same as stock. It should stay that way since you have AFM lifters.

Did you send the ECM to Texas Speed so they can install the phaser tables? The stalling is most likely a combination of the tune and not having the converter. JRE is one of the best I'm sure with a little data logging Ted will get your tune dialed in.
