I got pulled over for speeding last year and the only thing I got a ticket for was no front plate so I just bought some 3'' toggle bolts and used them to secure it throught the bottom grill, It's never moved nor has the painted faded from that area

I hear ya brother! I think it will compliment the color scheme nicely though!

In my state your car will not pass inspection unless the front plate is properly attached. State and local police have no sense of humor when it comes to this. They make bank for the state off traffic tickets so if you have something as obvious as a front plate missing you are inviting harassment.

Yes, I have mine on. It really sucks because it (in my opinion) brings down the look of the car a little.

Do these flip away holders drill in under the bumper? Or do they attach with a bracket ?

How do you like the powered Show N Go plate holder. Have you had any problems with it? What are your thoughts on it after having it installed.

SoCal here----no front plate. But, this is why I have not tinted the windows. No need to stoke the flame.

We live in S. Texas and wife and I both have the manual Show-n-Go plate holders. Both have been in the down position since we have had the cars and so far no problems. A year and a half for hers and almost a year for me. We'll just tell the officer that we had recently washed the vehicle and forgot to put it up. See how that goes over. Worth the money in my opinion. Hate the look of the front plate on the bumper.

I am having my front end repainted so I had the license plate bracket removed. I was going to try out the Show N Go and see how it works. Just wondering what others thought that have it installed.

Remember some people do not put front plates on to make the car harder to identify to red light, speed, toll road, toll bridge and other miscellaneous surveillance cameras. It is also harder to identify your car to ALPR equipped police vehicles. Nothing to do with aesthetics.

Was working great till I scrubed it on a Driveway Apron.
It operates with a Key Fob push the up Botton and hold it till plate is fully out.
Same for the down. Origonaly thought I could hard wire it in; car on Plate up. When car turned off plate will go down.

its not a moving violation here in Iowa so my front plates are in the garage and not on my Camaros.
