Which speed would you reccomend? And you have no fears of something getting picked up and just... Spinning around on the paint? How often do you rinse it off? Every panel?

you want to use this on speed 1.
you can wipe down the panels after you go thru the complete car or panel by panel. |

This is badass, I can't wait to hear some reviews!!! I still have a whole Adam's clay bar waiting to be used after a 3000 mile road trip this summer from DC to California . . . but then again maybe I'll just get this instead. Thanks Phil for the info!

This is intersting and saving time over clay would be awesome but i don't know if i want to add another round to the already 4 things I apply with the PC...I don't think my hands can take any more vibration lol. Still, 15 min is not bad at all.

Quick question, where is the best place to get a porter cable or whatever is best to use for this. I usually do everything by hand but the more I read the more curious I'm getting to see how much better I can get my Camaro to look using a machine over my hands
Thanks in advance |

Amazon put the Porter Cable 7424XP on sale a couple week back for $90...that's the best price I have ever seen and bought one. Many people here use it and I just tried it out for the first time today. It works great and is perfect for people who have never used one before. I did find that it saved me tons of time over hand waxing, however, my total detail time went up because now I have added a polish and glaze to the mix. I highly recommend getting one.

I got the Porter Cable 7424XP last week from Amazon for $99 shipped. I also ordered the velcro attachment and 2 if each of the Meguire pads, and also 2 if the will buffing pads.... spent more on the accessories than I did on the main unit. What really amazed me was that I ordered Monday morning and it was on my porch Tuesday when I got home from work!

Oh I like this. What type of Dual Orbiter polisher do you suggest? I like buying tools.

Use water to rinse it off if you drop it on the ground. Speaking of rinsing, should this be rinsed off regularly in-between paint sections to make sure there isn't any grit particle being ground into the clearcoat? |
