Who the hell cares how common your mass-produced car is? Like any good car coming from any of the auto makers at a good price won't be common. :P

The camaro has a hella nice V6 engine though. About the only thing that impresses me on the Camaro. I mean what car does GM not slap a corvette engine in anymore?

The V6 is a Caddy engine upgraded.

Are you serious? Any v8 caddy has some sort of a vette engine, actually I think all v8 gm cars are vette engines. Maybe not the trucks though.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

the truck engines are not performance engines, they are used for towing and other stuff

Ah you bring me back to the days when I would ask the dealers where they kept the Camaro's with Camaro engines in them. Plus your facts are just all wrong.

No they don't. The STS/SRX/DTS/XLR, along with Buick V8 models, use Northstar engines. The G8 GT uses a 6.0L L76 V8.

Trucks use Vortec/Duramax.
