Scotsche Kit vs Metra Kit...Which is better
Just wondering people opinion on which kit is better for a double din radio/nav/backup camera upgrade...

No doubt the Scosche kit. I waited till it was out and no more little bugs.

Scosche kit= nothing but issues with it use your search button and check it out . Not that metra has not had any issues but I think the Scosche is ugly. The simple fact that it looks like a box and sticks down way to far. Yeah the touch screen is nice and all but that's it. And a lot so far has burned out

The scosche kit is
it's so ugly and it hangs down. I thought the metra kit was ugly.....the scosche wins hands down in the ugliness contest. Plus I've read nothing but problems.

It's gonna be tricky. GM built the HVAC controls on the stereo. There isn't a great deal of room for a lot of buttons. Yes it blocks part of the two top gauges witch are trans temp and voltage. The touch screen is modern. I've followed the issues the Scosche had, that's why I waited till now to buy it. So far so good, all the controls work. If you think the styling sux, the Metra kit isn't any better. All in all these two kits are all we have for now. If something better comes out I'll get it. Might be me but painting the kit flat black makes it match the interior better.
