I thought when GM agreed to replace my car the struggle would be over. But instead I sit here everyday for nearly a month and know that they have accepted orders for hundreds of cars and yet have refused to accept mine. They made the agreement with me and as directed I ordered the replacement car. Customer support noted the order number in my file but that is where progress stopped. They make the excuse that the dealer needs an allocation. This has nothing to do with the dealer. They didn't sell me the original car, they have gone out of their way to help me and in return GM is not even compensating them for all of the effort they put into my car over the 45 days it was in their shop at GM's direction. They then expect the dealer to give up an allocation that they could make some money with to further help me. Why won't they stand up and honor their commitment to a lifetime loyal customer? My first car 50 years ago was a Chevy.

I'm sorry. I guess I am just loosing it.

Becky! Please make sense of this!!! It got all the way to 3400 back in Feb and I checked today and they haven't had an update since 2/11/12? Why is it that my order got pushed back from 3400 to 3000 and there are no new updates?

There were several ZL1's that were bounced back. The good news is
that it will be rescheduled and built!! Stay tuned, hopefully we'll see it
move soon

At 1102 - my dealer mentioned nothing of year end builds and I was unaware as well.

Still 1100, but there is another week that is possible that
the order could be placed. You may want to check with your
dealer to see if they have the allocation available. Thursday
will start the last of of order submission. Good luck

My suggestion is to go back to customer service and with polite
persistance ask that they process the order in addition, contact
the dealer and have them escalate it through their area sales mgr.
Perhaps working 2 ends of it may get this moved into the system.

I'm sorry for your troubles, I wish I had a clearer answer for you.
There is still time this Thurs for orders to be available again.

So my dealer should be aware of this? Sorry for any ignorance here.

By chance the dealer called me on accident - I asked about allocations and he said if you don't get in we'll talk about 2013 models when that time comes. Made it sound like he didn't know.

So if I'm not in by Thursday / Friday morning I'm not in? Just looking for the day would have to call my dealer about 2013's :( Any idea if I'll be notified that I do NOT get in? I know these build overlaps are probably different every year.

I read in a previous post you said that the average days movement from 1102 to 2000 is dependent on allocations - but it seems like the majority (not all) that I see make this move in 3 sometimes 4 days. I'm sure you've noticed as well - any reason for that?

My dealer assured me that he got allocation from another dealer that he knows very well to place the new order QHRNCZ and that this order should go through by Thursday. The reason why I asked you when your system updates is that maybe you see something that I can't with me just tracking it on GMconnect. If you have any other ways to track it could let you let me know, Thanks.
