Heritage grille

Thinking about the new heritage grille. But how big of a pain is it to put on?

The hardest part is taking off the front fascia. Takes about 30 minutes. The grille swap is a piece of cake. Enjoy!

I just paid the local body shop to do it. They were done in less than an hour and cost me only 80 bucks

Just got me some Synergy Green in a rattle can from Sherwin Williams yesterday. I like the look of the Heritage grill too, and I'd probably end up painting it green. I already painted my mouse yesterday for practice. It turned out ****ing sick.

Did you remove the front wheels when you removed the facia? I would rather not have to remove the wheels unless it's absolutely necessary. TIA

My understanding is you do not have to take the wheels off.......However it makes life MUCH easier to get at the couple of bolts that hold the back in.......
Someone jump in if thats not right.......

You don't have to, but if you do remove the front wheels and the wheel well liners it makes the job a lot easier. A lot!

You can just turn your wheels to get to the 4 screws or so. You'll need an extension for your screw driver or wrench though. Pretty easy though. There are 4 screws on each side, not counting the 3 for the liner, 2 under the bumper and I think that's it besides the plastic pieces holding it on near the engine. Very easy and I know nothing about cars or tools lol.

It's not too hard. The hardest part I found was those 3 nuts on each side of the fascia where it fastens on to the fenders. Tight fit and if you are not careful you can make an inside out ding on your fender above your side markers.

Super easy install, use a nut driver on the three nuts on either side of the fascia and it's a breeze, much easier than trying to get a ratchet up there.
