Yeah it blows, it seems they build them in spurts, with no info released this weekend or Monday, Tuesday should be an exciting day, but nothing...where's 3100?????

IF I decide to stay in this order it will be the best vehicle I have ever owned, without a doubt. It will also go down as the single worst purchase experience of my life. I'm not throwing stones but the lack of information on my specific order is hard to believe. So we just wait. Well, we will see...

I have no doubt that the zl1 will be an awesome car and be everything it was built up to be, but like you, never again! I'll look around for one on the lot

Good luck. Every single one I have found is being marked-up $3K-$8K. I would say I have called on every single one. Some I would buy. Some I would not. I do not want a sunroof, or RY, or IOM, etc.

I placed my first order on 11/7/11 and had to cancel that order to remove the B92 hood and stripe.
I called my dealer and per Mr. Fitzpatrick my car will be a 2012 and is scheduled to be built the week of May 21, if this is true i think you will see ZL-1 Vins in the
1100-1200s range.

01/05/2012 (1100) Order placed at dealership. Order passed GM edit tables but dealer has not received allocation to place order.
01/05/2012 (1102) Order entered via web.
01/05/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.
01/10/2012 (2500) Order preferenced. Order pulled to the production system.
01/10/2012 (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.
03/02/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.
03/08/2012 (1100) Order placed at dealership. Order passed GM edit tables but dealer has not received allocation to place order.
03/09/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.

I keep asking GM for info and all they do is apologize for the wait and they tell me they understand my frustration....RIGHT.....It blows me away that they keep us in the dark instead of telling us what is going on!!!

I suspect you are correct. I placed my order on 11/3. I had to take the ECF insert off of my order to get the allocation picked up on 1/27. It went to 3000 on 1/31 and hasn't moved since. My dealer says build week of 5/28 which would be a complete dissapointment. Hoping for better, but hope is all I got.

I suspect a bunch of 3000's will move first week of May. I'm 3000 and my TPW is May 7....

man, i see all the guys that werent even sure they were going to get a 2012, now theyre at 2500(?) preferred what does that even mean in regards to us at 3000? i know the allocation system sucks, but does the build status work the same way? i want everyone to get a ZL1 as soon as possible, i just hope they don't leapfrog us because they now have have a "preferred" status. i know i might be sounding like a D@#k but i don't want to have to wait even longer!

2500 is before 3000, so technically you're still ahead of us. But, would you get out of the way already? All is 2500'ers are coming fast and need some room in the 3000 club!

I know it's been a long wait, but you'll feel a lot better once you see a status change. I know all of us that were still stuck at 1100 as of last week feel a hell of a lot better now...since we finally saw movement...
