Vince, we like shoes. Go back 4 -5 pages and you'll get the idea.

Twisty, the shots from Redrock Canyon were taken on Saturday Morning between 10 and 11:30. It was extremely bright and sunny unless you went into the adjacent canyons on foot for some shade. I'd guess the temps were in the mid 90s when I took the pics.

Would you settle for a few of the hundreds of pairs my wife has??? Every week its a new blouse or pants and shoes... that she never wears.... You would think after 36 years I would understand but I sure don't.....

Hey now, cool thread you kids got going here! My buddy Vince (StentS) just recently made me aware of it. Do you have room for another old guy? For you history buffs you'll know my age when I tell you I was born on D-Day.....................do the math! Yikes! But hey, age is only a number for this kid, been jogging 4 - 5 miles every other day since 1977 and just recently sold my Hayabusa (one of the fastest vehicles on the planet). I used to canyon carve throughout the mountain roads that surround our beautiful Lake Tahoe Basin with a group of younger sports bike madmen. My spouse and kids talked me into giving up such a dangerous sport in that my luck would surely not last forever. Thus, my new 2012 passion, Casper!
Anywhooo, I retired from the rat race back in 1999 and haven't had the desire or inclination to look back since! Lovin' the good life!
Now about Casper, he just turned over 1,500 miles and in the mail as I type is the S type Borla axle back exhaust system I ordered on Monday. WOOT-WOOT!!
The weather has been superb out this way and soon the mountain roads will be clear of winter salt and sand so that I can give "spirited" driving with four wheels a try!
I look forward to getting to know you all and I hope your day is going smoothly!

Jimbo

Welcome aboard CCbusa09. You are only as old as you feel & these cars are making us feel pretty young! Sounds like you have had other toys making you feel young. Enjoy that permagrin making machine. You'll love the sound with the Borla exhaust. Be aware that the sound keeps getting better for about 6 months of "spirited driving". So don't judge it on first impressions alone. You got a good cold air intake on that baby yet? If not you need to plan on getting one of them too. It will also improve the sound, responsiveness & HP (not to mention getting rid of that butt ugly one that comes stock on these).

Great addition.Easy install. It's a well made piece and once you start modding it don't stop. Not sure how long the special goes but a C5 sponsor AutoAgenda is offering a free ADM Performace Scoop(which works) with a CAI Inc. Unit. However it now looks like the black powdercoated is now out of stock as of yesterday.
