Yeah im hoping we will start to see them in 5 or 6 months. It would be nice to find one with only a few thousand miles max on it. I know what i want, but i guess i will just have to wait a bit longer!! LOL

6-12 months. Ultimately you have people that get new cars every year, or Dodge or Ford will have the next best thing in Mustang and Challenger. Ultimately people will also buy them and figure out that a sports car is not for them they have kids and such to justify it.

But you will also see it because of financials people will buy these with little down and have huge payments, heck even with 20 grand down your still talking a pretty hefty payment, so they will go back get the dealer to give them what they owe and be done with it.

You'll start seeing a lot of them once the 2013 GT500 rolls off the line.

Doubt it. If people wait until they roll off the line it will be to late to get one.

Most dealers only get one or two a year and most are already spoken for. They will be much harder to get than the ZL1.

I believe though that used ZL1's will pop up more do to people that can't really afford them more then anyone getting the urge to get something else.

The reason i asked is i know it would be hard for me to afford a brand new one right now, so i thought i would wait as see about picking up a used one for about 5-7k cheaper. So i guess it's just a matter of time.

I cant wait to buy a used ZL1 for a $10K discount.
Great bang for the buck

Used corvettes Z06's are in the mid $40's, 2009 ZR1 corvettes with MSRP of $110,000 are in the mid $70's or buy a one year old ZL1 for the upper $40's.

Id expect in a year or two for the Camaro ZL1 to bump the HP to 600 because in 2014 the generation 7 corvette will be released and the ZR1 will have more than 638 HP.

I can see a camaro comming out having the LS7 427 motor soon to bridge the gap between base LS3 and LSA motor. Can you say Z28?

Keep in mind CAFE standards for fuel mileage changes for 2016........new vettes and camaros will all be 6's and turbos, blowers etc..........big displacement will be gone..........that gives us 2-3 years to play

Ford has already said they will build as many as the public wants once initial allocations are met. They will be plentiful by fall.

I need long term like two or so years. I wouldn't care if it had 15000 or so miles as long as it was well kept. That's my plan and I'm sticking to it

I doubt it. Look at Fords Web site. They refer to it as a very limit edition.

Hope your right though.

Ford has stated they will build as many as they can sell. The initial allocation IS limited, but after that customers will be able to order whatever they want.

The GT500 for 2013 was just certified as well, but I do not want to post the information as it is not the place for it. It is above 650 though

There will be some dealer demos for sale later this year I'd imagine. Dealers usually sell demos after putting around 3k miles on them.
