Considering a CAM upgrade

I've been considering a CAM upgrade for months and can't decide. The only reason I hesitate is drawing more attention to myself from the NOVA law enforcement. We have Loudoun County Sheriff, Fairfax County Sheriff, State Police, Leesburg Police all in this tiny little space, with differing standards I'm sure, and I'm curious if there are folks in the NOVA area that have upgraded their CAM. Once it's done it's done and I don't want to get hammered with tickets. There are folks in the area that have been stopped for simply not having stock exhaust on the forum. Any folks on here in the NOVA area that have upgraded that could provide any advice? Heck, any law enforcement on here that would care to chime in? I'm leaning towards a JRE smooth idle CAM, rough idle is just too aggressive (but uber cool!).

Thanks!

If you get more tickets it will only because the car goes so much faster and you can't resist speeding.

For your situation I would go with the smooth idle cam, it still kinda sounds like its still stock

Cam isn't going to get you anymore tickets. Your right foot is what does it.
Make sure you pick a reputable shop that stands behind there work! Take it to jannetty.

They have good shops in the area, just buying the right cam or cam packages that will give you the best bang for the buck.

When brainstorming a cam install that has been my initial plan as well, though I may buy a TX Speed or LG cam for them to install.

I think you should do it! as for tickets i doubt it will make a difference i mean your already supercharged......man if you put the g6x3 cam in with a LS3 conversion you could see like 600 RWHP

Thanks for the input! Now it's the harder decision. Family vacation or cam? Oh dear.

Here is a video of my cam at idle.

No issues at all with me from the cops. Had them sitting beside of me and behind me at lights no issue. Actually had one roll down his window beside me at a light and said it sounded awesome.
