Explain this........I have medical "insurance"......and my rates don't go up when I go to the doctors office or into the hospital. So why does auto insurance go up if you have to use it?

mine is only $12 more, every 6 months, than my 2000 4runner. Nice try though. Not our fault you have a bad insurance company.

My rate have gone up up twice the past year and a half. Of course I had to make two not at fault claims.

I get pissed when I see what some of you pay cuz I'm getting hosed. I have average coverage on all the other stuff with a $1000 collision ded and $0 comp, doens't make that much difference so I keep it low, and I'm paying over $100 per month. I was quoted at 103 and never saw that cuz it was 107 and then I got one ticket, my first in 15 years, and it went up to 112 when my agent said one ticket wouldn't affect my rates. I know location makes a difference but it is bs that I'm paying more than around 80 with a good driving record, 0 at fault claims, and only a handful of comp claims over the years for stuff like hail damage and windshield.

And like many of you have pointed out the jump in premiums attributed to comprehensive coverage is not do to our driving but to stupid ppl damaging our cars and or the fact that we are probably more likely to make small or not so small comp claims to keep our cars looking good when somebody else might just live with minimal damage.

Because if your car insurance worked like your medical "insurance," it would have to cost just as much.

So my premiums went UP to $368 for 6 months of coverage. That OVER $2 USD a fricking DAY.

Can y'all keep it below 100 MPH?

Thanks in advance.
Dude your insurance rates are your own fault.. I have no issues with my rates. I hope you were kidding with this post

I traded a 2008 Trailblazer for a 2010 SS and my insurance dropped $8 per month. I have no idea why exactly, but I expected it to increase drastically.
