I know that this may be deemed as a stupid question. I ordered my Z with footwell lighting. How do you turn them on? Where do you turn them on? I feel like DRAKE! The manual doesn't mention them. Man! I feel like I need another degree for this car! But I love it anyway!

That is where the Pace Car button is.

If you press it multiple times in the Pace Car is gets brighter and changes color as well.

This made me chuckle.

I just had my installed and didn't realize that it didn't automatically come on when the headlights came on. I searched all over and couldn't find a switch until I placed a cup in the cup holder. That is when I found the switch.

I wonder why it isn't tied into the headlight switch?

I guess they felt its easier to please if you can turn it on when ever you want instead of not being able to turn it off without the headlights being turned off as well.

Depends on what makes it worth it to you. There are various options that people have developed on this forum to incorporate footwell and cupholder lighting (non Factory) that look just as good if not better which is all subjected to opinion but way less money as well. check out one of the vendors that has developed a cheaper kit with the same general outcome.
