Watching IOM 2SS Orders At 3000 4/20 - 5/12...

I ordered the IOM and mine went to 3800 on tuesday the 12th so my dealer will keep me posted he good about this stuff. I too ordered the cyber gray stripes . Dealer thinks probally 2 weeks hopn for memorial day week! wait n c. I too think GM really has there junk in the trunk on this deal we all waiting and some people are ordering and getting cars ! well what do ua do! we r at their mercy . good luck to all

Yup, GM has stopped giving out TPWs as a result of all of these constraints and delays. There are many people on this board whose TPWs came and went without their car ever being built. I guess GM doesn't want to get anyones hopes up too much.

i went 3000 on the same day. i called GM as did my dealer, no TPW's anymore. seems like the majority of you took 2 weeks to go from 3000 to 3400........

per FbodFather, i thought that was supposed to stop now that they've ramped up production.

as of this morning i'm still at 3000 (day 9)..............

my dealer checks my workbench every morning and emails me a scan if anythings changed. no changes as of today!

if any of you ordered the IOM engine cover.......CALL UR DEALR AND REMOVE IT!!!!! IT IS IN CONSTRAINT!!!!

just remove it so your order doesn't get passed up and call Diller at Newman Chevy and order it cheaper there.

fellas i hate to say it, but if we don't move shortly............i'm not sure us 3000 folks will move til' after the bankruptcy.............you 3400's might make it to bayed.

isn't it kinda looking that way? i mean, if they know they're gonna file June 1st, and shut down til' it's final, they'll clear the line before hand

As of 5-13-2009 went to 3400 with no TPW (due to GM). Dealer said 2 other cars from the dealership after mine are IOM and also went to 3400 the same day, Maybe the production line is gonna produce a ton of IOM's over the next week or two. Dealer told me he should have VIN by mid next week for my car.

I thought once your at 3000, your SOL for changing your order.

I haven't checked with my dealer today...... i'm hoping that mine will be produced before the June 1 date... and would like to have a vin below 10000.

i believe if your at 3000 or above, ur screwed. i could be wrong. if ur at 3000 and have the IOM cover on ur order, and they're on constraint....i think u sit.........not 100% sure.

i don't think u can change ur order at 3000. but i'm not sure if GM will acept your order, then put you on constraint...............
