I've picked up hitchhikers before with never a problem. I know it's a risk, but life is a risk. Perhaps it's because I grew up in the 60's & 70's...and things up here in the Pacific Northwest tend to be a little more friendly & relaxed...especially out in the boondocks.

Still, I'm pretty sure this guy had mental issues...but in his defense, he never did anything...

A friend of the family saw a guy and his wife and kid walking with a gas can and he took them to the staton and back to thier car and someone in the back seat cut up his leather seats in his CTS Caddy. They could have used the knife on him!!!!

I still pick up the occasional hitch hiker though.

Ok, I don't, but as a Christian man, I am torn on wether to do the right thing or ask for trouble, lol.

Apparently you have not done much research on hobo's. They do not go around chopping off the heads of people. They concentrate on severing arms....mostly right arms. Unless of course you happen to be driving through the midwest in which case they are prone to taking a hammer to your ankles.

Not a chance in hell. I see some pretty damn strange people out on these desert/mountain roads. I can't carry either on company business....
