Where you bringing it for service.
There's a new chevy dealership that just started up another 12 miles away that use to be a high end mersadies benz / Pontiac that I always used for service. Because of the high quality Benz they had a excellent bodyshop and service dept. Same people they just switched to Chevrolet GMC ...They just haven't been there long enough on the chevy side to get any allocations...so I'm sure I'll use them....

Well done sir! Tell the original dealer to blow it out his ear. He certainly wasn't doing you any favors. Only one person is going to look after you and you just did with that persistance. Way to go.

Sorry to buck the trend, but if you ordered and agreed to the terms from the original dealer, you should honor your word. It is a two way street. How would you feel if you drive the six hours just to find out the second dealer did not honor his word? You find out they had a better offer and sold it to some one else. Sorry but I expect the dealers to honor the agreed sale, as I would the buyer.

I have absolutely nothing for dealers who tag on thousands to the price ....crooks .. The whole car buying bullshit is an exercise in dishonesty. How can it be that two different people can buy identical cars at the same dealership and one pays more than the other.. What if they tried that at the grocery store...

Did you have a down payment with the first dealer? I imagine if you did, they won't refund it. It would have been nice if they would have been more business-like, and maybe offered to match the other dealers price at MSRP. Here's where the greed creeps in.

good call. anydealer asking 5k over MSRP deserves what he got IMO.

I know free market BLA BLA but other places do not do it. best buy does not do it. the grocrey store does not do it. car lots should not do it.
