Hello Friends, i had a couple of friends ask about leather interiors. so i called my buddy Daniel who does aircraft interiors and started throwing around ideas about added some stuff to the camaro. He said he would like to give it a try, i told him what i wanted, after some kicking and scratching this is what we came up with. Using the ultra leather, what is ultra leather ?http://www.tapiscorp.com/p_ultraleather.htm , this stuff is great, check it out. same product he uses on small aircraft all the way to king air and citations.

Looks good. So is ultra leather like vinyl then? The link said it wasn't an animal product.

if he didn't tell me it was not leather, i would have never known

. it just like the seats in the camaro, you have the cloth on the bottom sides, then a thin (about 1 inch of real leather) then about 4 inches of something else, then what you sit on, might be vinyl

. i will try to get it installed here in the next few days and get some detailed pics, but it looks and feels great

this is used in high end aircraft, people who have plenty of money choose it because of it qualities over leather

not because they need to save a buck

Ultra leather is a urethane product made by Gulf fabrics in Tampa, Fl.It's also widely used in rv's & street rod suppliers like Roddoors.It,s very soft & streatchable. If for example , you spray you contact cement a littlelumpy, It may show through. Also it is permenantly wrinkling on my ds seat.
Did most of my interior approx 5 years ago, Although not completely finished. It was retailing around $100 per yard, I got wholesale for half that. If you sit in my seat, you might not want to get back up.

hi, thanks for the info, according to their website they are just a distributor of Ultra leather
