SCT-New Livelink issues-Help

I've been fighting with this SCT and Livelink for sometime. From logging issues to firmware revisions.
I got my SCT about a month a go. Everytime I went to log with Livelink, I received a "PID's failed" message. After spending hrs and days trying to figure it out on my own and hrs and days on the phone, SCT finally resolved the issue with a firmware update. It was day#2 or 3, I believe, that they stated there was an issue and were close to getting it fixed. OK that issue is now resolved, as most of us SCT users now know.
New issues for me:
  • Fuel pressure. I've been logging the fuel pressure pid. It is the only one on the list of validated pids that has the units as kpa. The value Livelink has returned is 130kpa as the average. When I convert it, I come up with 19 psi. There is no way the car could run with that low of a fuel pressure, let alone my nitrous activate, since it has a fuel pressure safety switch set to 45psi.
Am I logging the wrong pid for fuel pressure?
If so, could someone supply me with the correct pid?
Has anyone with the latest firmware and Newest Livelink logged there fuel pressure? If so, what is it?
  • Analog input: I am using the analog 1 input for my Autometer wideband. While logging, I am only getting the raw voltage recorded. The graph is not displaying the afr. I set up the formula/equation for analog input 1 as: (v*2.5)+10. The wideband has a 0-4 V output and ranges from 10 to 20 (span of 10). I even tried (v*2)+10 incase the decimel point was confusing Livelink and I tried one of the preprogrammed equations for a PLX wideband, no luck.
Has anyone else attempted to log this way?

Struggling. :bangdesk:

As for fuel pressure, sounds similar to what I captured when logging. I have since re-tuned a number of times and they all are comparable. I haven't identified a better fuel pid.
Maybe someone else has a verified fuel pressure PID...
Btw - this log is a 2010 A6 SS

Called SCT today to find out if there was any progress on the issues that I emailed them about livelink. The tech I originally spoke with and had emailed was busy. So he is to call me back. But anyway, I relayed some of the issues I was having to the tech that was on the phone. He stated there is another firmware update they are testing. I have version 1.2.137.03, which did help. From what the tech said, this update will be for the Camaro.
Crime2, what happened to your thread?

Thanks. The problem is I have the 1.2.137.03 firmware. Was one of the first to get it and posted up on Crime2 's thread, which disappeared.
Try logging your fuel pressure, let me know what you get. The multiply kpa by .145, this will give you psi. http://www.csgnetwork.com/presskpapsicvt.html

SCT updated my 1.2.137.03 firmware last week in response to my issues. It must have just been an update and not a revision since my firware # did not change. Got to log tonight, no good. All I get is PID failures, just like before the 1.2.137.03 firmware revision.

oo lol sry.... :(.

Ok,
first, make sure you are using gen 2 livelink. If you are then good.
2nd, when you get the vehicle Id, on that page or the next page (cant remember), it asks you things about the Pids. You want to select validate all pids.
DON'T USE A LIST USE MADE PREVIOUS.
When you click next, it takes you to next page, you will see a green bar on botton showing progress on the pids.
Then make your list again.
If that doesn't work..........sry, Idk

Np, .
Yep gen 2 livelink. I'm going through the same logging process as you so at least that confirms that I'm doing it the correct way.
Ya, if you use a previous list, saved config file, when it populates on the logging screen, no units are present in the units column. And more issues that are less important to me at this time. Sorta concerned though, these are PIDs that are "tangible" to me. What about the other PIDs like spark advance or knock that I have to trust the value? Did you happen to log the fuel pressure? thx
