Very disappointed In Local Track!

So we got to the track today in Erie Pa, Wattsburg and it sucks! 60' Time is running close to 2.50 with 18" NT05r's and 3600 Yank!!! I knew are track is bad but man what a Disappointment! If we get Tire Glue will it even help at all at this track? Tried not even flooring the car and still just spins down the 1/4!!!

I bet it U tried to run you would fall on your face, lol. I went and walked on Luckys track today and did not even make a sticky sound at all. Was pretty slick walking on it.

is that track down hill, or is the end incline just making it look that way?

It is after the end of the 1/4 mile it dips and then goes up. I was told its like that b/c the length for slowing down. Might be wrong.

A little off of your topic, but disappointment as well.

My local track here is terrible. Out of my last 4 attempts to race at this track when they were advertised as open, I have raced one time. Usually they cancel due to weather (lack of cars), or claim track issues. Last Friday gates opened at 5:00 racing at 6:00, at 8:30 about 10 cars only had made passes because there were problems with the lights and timers. 9:00 pm racing starts again and a mustang oils down the entire track, at that point I gave up and left again.

I have given up on them and will travel a little further to actually race my car when I go to the track.

If that track is flat for a full 1/4 mile, I'm a monkey uncle.

it's not flat the whole 1/4 mile. It does go down hill.

I put them to 20. Did not go to 18. They do not do anything to the track. Has all kinds of rubber on it. I walked on it and I was not even sticking. Was slippery. People bring there own track bite or what every they use in deck sprayers.
We are going to raise the rear end back up, its dropped 1 1/4 from the LCA's.
We want to try it at Thompsons after he gets the car retuned. The RPMs are only going to 2k with the 3600 stall.

The track must really suck..... I ran 25 lbs. with those tires and hooked everytime @ our local track, 60 ft. was 1.90 with a stock tune and some mods... Your right those tires only had 10 to 15 passes on them when i sold them to you... Take it to a better track i'm sure they will hook good for ya... With your dads mods it should be around 1.70 - 1.75 60 ft. easy.......

Yes them Tires are not any ware near the bars! It's are stupid track, on the street is a whole different story I was shocked when I seen the first pass at almost 2.5 60' With the 20' Nto5r's Tires he was running 2.10's there w/o the cam a little over 108 mph. The track was not as slick last year. I thought he was going to pull mid 11's!!! I was talking smack and people agreed, lol. A guy with a Javelin could not get any traction either but at Thompsons he hooks right up on his same tires. Are track they use a deck brush with a towel on it,lol. Thompsons uses machinery and sprayers.
