Also keep in mind the SS comes factory with 73% tint.. So when you add legal 35% tint over that it actually makes your tint around 28%...illegal. Just keep that in the back of your mind if you do get stopped one day.

The darker the better I think.
 Except when backing up at night. It's a must to role the windows down then to be able to see better. Here's a picture of mine @ 35%+ all the way around and a strip on the wind shield.

I had 15% on my G8. It came from Michigan and I never tested it until I got pulled over and a nice officer did it for me.
 So I retinted the side windows to 35% got pulled over again and the cop swore I was Illegal. He tested the driver window and said I was all good to go. Front 6in stripe and rear window were still 15%.I dont think they have a way of testing the rear window. But it will cause police attention. looks good btw. I need to get mine tinted. EDIT: My G8 was IOM (little different color) 15%  35%

35% in front, 5% on the other 3.
