ARH Headers - BEST Customer Service

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to take a minute to put the word out about the absolute best customer service experience I have ever had with an auto parts vendor. I started doing some light mods to my 2011 Convertible 2SS M6 this year. And after reading MANY MANY posts from all of you out there I started thinking about installing headers on my car. At the time I only had a short throw shifter, cold air intake, and a Corsa Sport Cat Back. I was torn whether I should spend the money on headers or not. After listening to what you all had to say I opted to go with Kooks or ARH.

After doing some research, I contacted both companies. I didn' have any issue with Kooks, but Nick at ARH spent a lot of time with me on the phone, he answered all my questions, and even though I never committed to buying anything he spent a lot of time multiple times with me on the phone. In the end I opted for the ARH Long Tubes with cats to bolt up to my newly installed Corsa.

When I received the package (which took less than a week to Wisconsin), I found that while they had given me a great price on the headers and cats, they also sent me their 3 inch x pipe which would not allow me to bolt up to my Corsa. I started the project on a Saturday and wasn't able to contact anyone, and being anxious to get it on the car, I decided to go ahead and use their x-pipe and cut my Corsa system to fit. After getting everything installed I discovered the extra bracing in the convertible does not fit around the new 3" pipe so I fabricated some spacers to accomodate the new exhaust. It took some time, but in the end it all worked out. I sent Nick an email letting him know that I had some issues with clearing the braces, told him I wasn't asking for anything special, just thought he should know that it didn't just slide in to place.

1 Hour later I received a call from Nick personally who said, there must have been some miscommunication in my order, and they knew that the 3" x pipe didn't fit the convertible, but that their standard Long Tube system with cats would have bolted up perfectly to the Corsa (even on the convertible) and I would have had no issues. He went on to say that they make a Chromoly, powder coated brace that replaces the convertible bracing as well as the standard coupe bracing all in one nice clean piece, and that they sell this for $475. He told me that brace is required with the new x-pipe on convertibles. But this is where I was amazed. He asked me for my address again, told me he didn't know who made the mistake (me in my order - or them on their end) and told me he was shipping me this brace absolutely free of charge, and wouldn't even let me pay for the shipping.

I have never seen a company willing to go this far above what is required to keep a customer happy. I absolutely love my headers..... They woke my car up like I could never have imagined. They look and sound awesome, and I got an unbelievable boost in "Seat of the Pants" power. I have a Dyno Tune Scheduled next week with Speed Inc. in Illinois (who Nick also helped me set up an appointment with) and it should get even better.

Not only did these guys give me more exhaust than I originally paid for, but they also went out of their way to give me the brace for free. I don't have a complaint with anything they did. I wasn't asking for a freebie or looking for a problem but they went above and beyond to take care of me. I know this was a very long winded write up, but I gotta tell you, I am an ARH customer for life, and everyone I know will hear about the amazing work these guys are doing.

Take care everyone, and best of luck with your cars...... If you are ever in the market for exhaust components give these guys a shot..... You won't be disappointed!

They are great. I spoke with Anthony for a good 30 minutes yesterday about a ton of questions I had. He made good sense of everything, and gave me a great deal on headers.

I got my ARH brace yesterday! Installed today in 20 minutes, perfect fit and finish. Its a beautifully engineered piece. It replaces both tunnel braces on the convertible with one nice looking tubular brace. Its lighter than the original flat metal braces and it made the car noticeably tighter. Looks great, fit great, and feels great on the road. Another awesome product from the fellas at ARH! I can't thank you guys enough Nick, keep up the great work.
