As for the second gen it is a 75,76 0r77, you can tell by the big bumpers and round back glass. trust me . 74 had flat back glass, and 78 up had that large one peice nose .

The guy that owned the Vert , his name is Larry . Like Dan said he has a Vette now , Yeah Purple with Yellow ,,Like in you'r face , I did take a pic of it . But I deleted it because I did'nt think it deserved space on our thread,

As for the new owners , they are a youg couple and came over to us, the group and asked about joining the club , chris gave them info .. I talked with them a little also , and asked if they bought it used and told them about the guy before , the new owner told me that Larry came over and was saying crap about the car to them , he was pretty rude I was told , I felt bad for them .. But hopefully they will come on and join the club ,


As for the Camaro from Mels family , I recall reading the reg form , I'm pretty sure it was 1977 ... But I was reading alot of them , so could be mistaken...

So Andy , I waited to post this , because of the comment on Vette owners ,, But hey ,,,

A nice guy came over to the group and introduced himself , I have his info . They are a Vette club , (flame me ) anyways they invited our club to join in on a caravan with them on May 12th , Not sure of all of the info , but He was really nice and said it would be awsome to have all of the Camaro's and Vettes together , With that being said , I told him we already had plans on the 12th of May for the windmill show , (reffering to myself and a few others) But he said let anyone know if they would like to , And gave me his card .

Yup, I traded in the black V6 for the 5.0.

I gotta tell 'ya, she ran pretty good for a V6 (successive 14.2's@99mph 100% bone stock, auto trans/2.73's!). Sometimes I wonder if I really needed 400+hp ...

As far as the new tail lights on the 13 Stangs, I'm not sure yet how I feel about them. Gonna wait till I see them in person. I do like the vented hood, the halos (now standard), and the Track Apps (though I wonder how accurate they are).
