I do not blame you. Gm is in the shape due to the fact they have made so many poor choices. They are a shitty ran buisness that will be saved due to there employement size. But don't be fooled if they were any other buisness we would be happy to see them go. I am a gm loyal customer but I think there buisness ethics suck and they put there self in the shape they are in. As for the dealerships there day is coming.

I have just about had all I can stand with GM and Hendrick Chevrolet....

If mine wasn't already built even though it is held up in QC I would bail....

No Scott, I needed a new car 2 and a half years ago.

With all due respect, implying that I need it NOW, is not accurate.

GM has the unique situation of being on the verge of bankruptcy, and having 14000 pre orders, I being one of them since November on the first day of pre ordering.

With the economy being what it is, and having a car this desirable, it creates quite a bit of contrast as a consumer.

I am being as nice as I can here, in a place I respect very much, but believe me, I'm about as pissed off as I have ever been, and to boot, it looks like I am going to struggle to get my deposit back if at all.

THAT is really what I need now, my money back.

Being self employed I can tell you that April 15th is always a tough day, sending the government money that is slated to go to dealerships that are marking cars above sticker price is absolutely bull!!!!

Those are the dealers that should have to answer to GM, and in fact if these cars get old and tired, like all new models do eventually, I am sure customers who are struggling to pay bills, will remember.

If those that love Camaro's so much really want to sacrifice this much for a vehicle, then they have my respect, I did it with Harley's, I wont do it again.

What in fact will happen if I dont get it, is way more costly to the dealer, and GM, I will never be back, nor will I hesitate to turn others on to the truth.

The dealer cant deliver the vehicle, and then wont return my deposit. Would you recommend them?

Call your bank and file a fraud claim against them....

Tell them what has happen and let them deal with the dealership....

I have done this on several occasions and got my money back....

The bank has more power then you do...

If you paid by Check, Bank Card,or Credit Card you should be O.K.....

I would call them....

Don't blame you one bit. I have watched the pre-order carnage unfold from the sidelines and it has not been pretty. I've loved the new Camaro every since the concept...had the 'vert pics as my desktop for a long time. After I sold my 91, I swore I would order one. I'm glad I didn't. You guys have had to put up with a lot of crap from GM and Dealerships as far your pre-orders go.

Those who ordered are much better off canceling at this point, getting something to drive for a while (if they have to), and then waiting for the prices to drop. Can you imagine what prices are going to be like in a year or two? If you can wait that long, it will be totally worth it. You'll save thousands.

Good luck, this is ultimately what prompted me to buy the vette. You can get a nice used C6 for less than what it would cost for a 1SS.
