mine nearly here-should I wait......
My car is due any day. What will buying it before June 1 or after June 1 mean ? I've got the option of buying it outright or financing it. I was thinking if parts or a down time might become a problem, financing it might be best. Particularly if I lose my income and GM has promised to support that. Also, I'd have some back up money if I financed it and not paid cash.

Why would you buy it outright? If anything just drop a huge down payment and get a low monthly payment.

Parts won't be a problem for the Camaro. This car is a hit!

put some money down, dont buy outright. Down the road if you need a loan for something else you will build your credit.

Give me the cash I need a stimulus.
On a serious note if you have that much money then buy it. Or finance a portion but should be at least 24 months if you want to build FICO up. |

put a big downpayment on it get low monthly payments stick the cash in a savings account and if something happens you will have a nice lil backup til you can find something else.

Paying cash, which on a car I would not normally do but I plan on keeping this one, it will sit in my heated garage most of the time. My daily drivers I lease, a wise man once told me....if it appreciates over time in value, buy it. If it depreciates, rent or lease it.
