Thanks. 1969 is my favorite year for the Camaro also. Here's a larger image:

The car didn't run an 11 in the hands of Motortrend, period. So feel free to stop telling everyone that it did. Again, high horsepower, street tires, high elevation. Ignoring the implications of this is pure fanboy and borderline disinformation.

Again, I agree. But good luck with getting people to research before they post. Too many times the just repeat what the have heard (or think they have heard) without first verifying the information. A lot of the time, they just post things they know are not accurate to get a specfic reaction from certain people.

Above you said 12.6 maybe you should stop quoting miss information. For me to take their corrected time of under 12 seconds as solid is not a stretch, when they ran a 12.1 at a crazy elevation on a cold/dusty track

Thanks. I couldn't read the date on the timeslip - can you by chance make out the time?
Anyway....High temp that day for Milan was 62F (I looked it up). Not great air, but not bad either. Given the track's altitude, and assuming they ran in the middle of the day, figure a DA of ~+750 ft. |
